Use case

One episode in, a week of clips out.

A two-hour episode holds a dozen good ninety-second stories, and hunting for them by scrubbing a waveform is why most of them never get posted. MakeRoll transcribes the episode, marks where the conversation actually turns, and hands you a timeline where the transcript is the edit. Ninety minutes of source costs 90 credits, which is €2.25 of a Creator month.

How it works

  1. Bring the episode in

Paste a YouTube link or upload the recording. It is fetched, transcribed and scanned for scene changes on our own GPUs while you do something else; nothing installs and nothing is uploaded twice.

  2. Cut by reading, not by scrubbing

The transcript is the timeline. Strike a sentence and the cut ripples through to the frame. Take a moment the detector flagged or draw your own in and out points, and undo any of it.

  3. Caption, reframe, export

Auto-reframe to 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 keeps whoever is talking in frame. Captions follow every word in your fonts and colours. Export as often as you like: exports are never metered on a paid plan.

What you end up with

Clips that are actually cut

Not a ninety-second window around a keyword: a cut with a start, an end, and captions that match the audio word for word.

The same look every week

Save a template once (format, caption style, hook, brand kit) and next week's episode comes out of the pipeline already wearing it.

Files that stay yours

What you export is yours for good, and your library is kept for as long as you subscribe plus a week after you stop.

What this does not do

MakeRoll clips video. It does not record your podcast, host your RSS feed or write your show notes: bring a finished recording, leave with the clips.

Credits are source minutes: a 60-minute video costs 60 credits, however many clips come out of it. Editing and exporting are free and unlimited. Pricing

Try it on your own footage.

An hour of source video free every month: full pipeline, full editor, no watermark, no card.
