Munch, now Munch Studio, is a repurposing suite: clipping, AI scripts, scheduling and analytics in one subscription, from $38 a month for 500 minutes of repurposing. MakeRoll is narrower on purpose: get the cut right, then publish it. The same order of magnitude of footage costs about a third as much here.

Munch Essential is $38 for 500 minutes of repurposing (~$0.076/min). MakeRoll Creator is €15 for 600 minutes (€0.025/min). Comparable footage, comparable job, roughly a third of the monthly bill.
A free plan, not a seven-day countdown
Munch’s plans open with a 7-day trial, after which the tool stops. MakeRoll Free is not a countdown: an hour of source video a month, through the whole pipeline and the whole editor, for as long as you want it.
The editor is the product
Munch spreads across scripts, analytics and distribution. We spend that effort on the cut itself: edit by transcript with ripple deletes, a frame-quantized timeline, word-level captions, and an export that matches the preview pixel for pixel.
Where Munch is ahead
Munch is a wider suite than we are: AI-written scripts, a content calendar with analytics across more networks, and 100 GB to 1 TB of storage on its plans. If you want one subscription covering scripting, clipping, posting and reporting, it covers more of that surface than we do today.
